Thanks for the advise on the seat covers. The drivers bucket seat has some wear but no holes or tears. The passengers side bucket looks great but the back seat is just shot along the top by the package shelf from the sun coming through the rear window. I guess it could be repaired

YES it can. If you don't know of any near you, ask other car guys for recommendations to an upholstery shop.

I got the PHS doc's today and the car is a factory built 4 speed. Also highlighted under the engine " 06B spec. Police ". I'm not sure what that is.

The 06B code manual-trans 389 was a 303 HP 4-barrel version with 10.25:1 compression, a 4-barrel carb and the 529472 cam - 273/282 duration, .406"/.406" lift (same profile as the later 9779066 cam).

Thanks, I was aware of the 06B spec. but I never heard it referred to as a "Police Special".
