Dont know if he bothered to race it or not. I think the dyno told him all he needed to know... He used the same dyno and operator...same dyno as current combo.

Thanks Bruce, all I'm finding is his test on the stock block where he tested his wide-ports back to back with a pair of CV1'S.... is this the test you're referring to? I'm just curious to compare the numbers because it's been mentioned here before that the CV1'S went faster than his Gaby heads.

The back to back test results yes. Maybe best to ask Dick if there is track testing too.

I do know the back to back tests influenced him to go ahead and build the new motor and let Bill spec the heads etc.. Heads on new combo are ported(Bills cnc "Max cast" version...*most you could go without welding on original castings) and NOT the heads tested in the back to back tests.

*New cv1.1 castings can accomodate even larger ports(if needed) Bill developed without welding.

Thanks Bruce, just to be clear the heads on the "back to back" stock block test were not ported by Gaby.
