So does someone actually knows if the track was prepped and how much. This wasn't a Bracket Race it was two 2,500 HP plus Pro Mod cars going down the track.

No......I was not there I don't know of any prep that was or was not done so I asked a question unlike some non-drag racers Im trying to get info before I make assumptions. You do realize I've been racing since 1970.....RIGHT. Freaking KIDS!

For non- racers out there, there are different kind of prep for a track. The same prep for a weekday test & tune is not always the same as a prep for a BIG money Bracket Race or is it the same for getting 2 2,500+ Pro Mods down the track.

I would never bet against Chief as a driver and a tuner. Richard Rawlings did and showed his ignorance of drag racing at the same time. He spent tons of money and trucked in a whole crew of people and still lost. He probably should watch some Youtube video on how it is done and at the same time find out who Jeff Lutz is too. So true! Chief & company have more than proven themselves by now but it was still cool to see them do big things with Pontiac power again and in epic fashion! RR proved to be as out of touch with drag racing as anyone could have imagined, plus his bla-se Hollywood attitude made him an epic douche. Apparently ignorance is bliss

It's great fun to see these old, outdated, out of business engines beat up on the latest and greatest. No matter what the format, and all the BS of "reality TV", it still makes me happy. Probably over half the audience that watches the shows weren't born when the last traditional Pontiac left a GM assembly line. Keeping the brand alive and relevant, that's for sure. If Pontiac was still in business, think how many cars he could have sold for the brand.
