Forest's house is down somewhat south of me in the movie. Reality is that the movie was filmed mostly in South Carolina and Savannah. Generally around here the grass stops growing in mid/late September. Driving season down here never ends. We do get the random "winter storm" and they'll actually put down a liquid chemical of some type as a preemptive thing but it's a day long thing versus a weeks/months long deal. Firing up the car in a warm basement and pulling it out for a run on a cold dry winters day is good medicine. One I'd like to experience this winter. Will I?
