Not to go-back the thread..but what grit sand paper for wet sanding after painting with BC/CC paints? I just painted mine and want to cut and buff....2000 or 4000 grit?

It all depends how many coats of clear or how many coats of Single stage is on the car. You don’t want to sand through ...then your screwed. If you just painted your car ,how many coats ?

3 coats of color and 3 coats of clear. I was going to start wet sanding with 2000. But am guessing at what should be used.

I finish with 1500. Anything finer feels like sanding with the Sunday Comics Section. I like to get things done not make it look like I am.
