Took the words out of my mouth, LOL, and what about the switchboard operator?
One thing for sure, all of these electronics need a dry place to reside. Should always be a need for a good roofer!

I’ve been in the roofing business for 13 years now and I have owned my own company going on nine years and I haven’t seen anything on the technology side that is a threat to making my career disappear.

The change I have seen is on the insurance side because some carriers are no longer letting their adjusters get on certain roofs and they are actually using drones to do the insurance adjustments like to take pictures of hail bruises on the shingles etc..

I did purchase a drone last year because some of the roofs I was having to look at, were far too steep and far too tall and the 4K camera on my drone took some great pictures but I really do enjoy getting up on the roofs and getting eyes and hands on it.
