Yea, one would think that something as simple as an ignition switch would be available. Something even harder to comprehend, a few years ago I had to rebuild my 2001 HD roadking. I needed several new parts associated with the handle bars, brake lever, clutch, light switch etc. Bike was only about 12 yo at the time. Dealer had no parts available and the parts for the bike I had were obsolete. One of the parts he got for me was the last one in the country that came from Houston, the rest of the stuff I ended up getting from JP. HD lost me on that go round, irritated me that you can buy baby booties with their logo but not parts to keep the bikes running
