Legislation can be overturned. I really wouldn’t use California or Europe as an example of success unless you define success by the misery of its residents....

the life expectancy of someone in the USA in 1964 was roughly 70. Right now it’s about 79. That did not happen without a lot of change. I’ll take 9 more years with my kids everyday of the week...
