Yep every time I turn on the bottle made 800hp n/a spray 250/350

My buddies ford scat 4340 2000+ hp 4" stroke no problems

Throwing money at every problem is your way of doing things .. And your still not fast..

I'm slow track 12 hrs away if I had a track in my back yard like you I would be in the 7's for sure.. Yes I am close to you we are both in the 8's ...lol

It isn't about a Bryant crank, it's about the center counter weights, without them things flex especially with steel rods. Guys are making big power with other cranks and everyone i know of runs alum rods. Like i said just an observation based on my personal experience and based on talking to others who had similar experiences as mine.

Mike made the steps up in power and what he told me the forged crank was fine to 1000HP, then had issues. Had issues with his Ross pistons past that too.
The fully counter weighted billet crank, reinforced billet pistons and dry sump went a long way in fixing his issues. Said he could have went without the dry sump but did not want to go through all the building and testing with the potential problems with a high end wet sump.
I thought it was now pretty much common knowledge that a Pontiac needs a fully counter weighted crank to make big power-big RPM. Especially NA.
Or you will have main bearing issues just like Brian said.
What Pontiac folks could use is a forged fully counter weighted crank like the BBC guys have for 900$. Pontiac guys would pay 1500$ for them. But the dies cost 150K and you have to wait 10 years to get your money back.
