X2. what would be the reason or benefit to putting springs in the upper or heater hoses? never had or heard of an issue with those hoses like how a bottom hose can collapse & needs a spring to prevent it.

No problem at all.
I for one don't like the look of a top hose that sucks flat after you park the car and the engine cools off. If a hose doesn't fit 'just right', the sping will prevent a kink. Clay |
