I looked at the pics and short video of the car. The sale # seems about right for it. Rare doesn't necessarily mean valuable. AKA Gremlin with Levis interior. That car would need deep 5 possibly low 6 figure investment to be a restored. Very small group of interested people in those cars. Olds community is 10% or so the size of the Pontiac hobby. Still a really cool car and a small slice of history.

Summation, 90% of buyers discarded the turbo, took the GM "fix" of a 4 bl. carb. Interesting look at a corporation cloaked in secrecy making bad decisions.
