A 1967-74 Stratostreak scales in around 660 IIRC, the LS3 in my T/A just under 400 - huge difference in handling; agile versus plowing thru corners. The battery being relocated to the right trunk makes this even more so.

Not disagreeing, I wonder what aluminum heads, intake, water pump, radiator plus a mini starter, light flywheel and headers do to help the old Stratostreak on the scales or in a nose heavy Firebird.
