I know there was a rash of bad new boosters, maybe you got one of those...

RIght Stuff claims 'no' and wouldn't replace. I am in agreement that it was probably inferior, but wasn't willing to throw more money at it/to them.

I do like the hydroboost and since my GTO is a little left of center (although NM engine/drivetrain), it's all good.

Now to get the failing upper ball joints replaced <sigh>.
