With a 63 block you will need a adapter to run a modern auto trans.Tom

Or a starter mount plate if you can find a BOP pattern modern trans (which is what I did. My trans is from a '67 Riviera).

Denali - there is a mechanical drawing in the aforementioned Pete's book on how to make your own starter mounting plate.
