My SM same length as Eddy 72cc E heads -and if pull all the shims out the IH can be near 1.9" with them! I think they are Aussie made from the numbers on the valves.

I have a set of take off E head single springs I'll send you-went with duals for HR. Their valves may not be good enough for solid roller spring pressure-they will tell you that is you ask-some on the 409 heads.. Some of their valves are made by Ferrera but Ferrera will not tell you what quality but hinted more at the 5000 series level.

thats good to know, i hate to waste some basically new valves if they will work with the sm heads i bought on black friday. sucks the eheads have ft springs but ill probably just order some edelbrock springs to go with it. after the valve job ill still be into the sm heads for less than 2k for the 310cfm version.

Unless changed Edelbrock uses a single coil spring.
