Hey ponchjoe, sorry to divert this thread, but your comment on the 17056261 interested me. There is a thread here, http://forums.maxperformanceinc.com/...light=17056261 (and others on the forum), where it was mentioned that the 6261 did not exist. The 6263 was supposedly the q-jet that came with the 455 in 76. Do you have a picture of the carb showing the numbers?

Hey John

Funny I saw that thread and just went out and tried to take some pics. It is a 6264 but the 4 is poorly stamped and it’s right behind the linkage. So the Bigfoot of Qjets is still in tact lol.
