I did a quick google search and all kinds of them popped up on the interwebs.

Many of them look to be some sort of a plastic construction now. Mine is a stainless mesh screen that is cleanable. I saw a couple of those pop up as well.

Yes but who knows if they are the same or one is better than another, Cliff's research would remove any questions. I also remember reading here there may be a lighter spring to compliment it.

If you stick with the stainless ones you'll be fine. That's what napa was selling when I bought mine.

I don't care for the plastic looking things and wouldn't try one.
