I’m trying to plan a similar project for the winter and I’m trying to understand whether 3/8 feed is good for under XXX hp vs going up to 1/2”

A lot of what I read has people saying things like go to 1/2” so you have reserve, etc, I’m just trying to understand what’s right vs “might as well”
