Finally got proper gaskets and O-Ring for a leak free install and added Butler's AN fuel line kit for the Edelbrock mechanical fuel pump to quadrajet connection. (I did have to get a different fitting to replace the quadraject filter housing though, Earl's Performance Plumbing fitting at Summit Racing, part number AT991943ERL ).

Went through warmup and finally got the tune in with idle screws out at 2 turns, initial ignition set at 14 degrees. Was able to get it to idle at 650 in drive with the A/C on and idle speed only jumped to 800 in park.

So I'm ready for some feedback if you think manifold vacuum at 12 inches is okay for this setup:

350 block with 4.25" crank for 413 cu in
6X-4 heads, Ross flat tops set at 0.0 deck height
Comp XE276HR cam - 224/230 @ .050 Lift .502/510 LSA 110
