I never knew the 65-66 4spd shifter handles were different between console and non-console cars. In my 40 years of doing this, I have never seen one advertised as console or non-console. You learn someting every day. Now I am wondering if the one in my 66 is correct. LOL

1965 shifter handles had three styles. 1) First design - Very early (like ‘64 style) with bend and without the Hurst name. 2) Second design - Bent handle with the Hurst name. 3) Third design - Almost straight handle with Hurst name. 1966 shifter handles. All were the straight version. All the above were available with or without console. |
