Check the new video of a true VOE GTO running the new generation VOE mufflers. Turn the sound up and you can hear the valves switching. You can hear the Humbler rumble when they are in the loud mode. It is hard for the camera microphone to relay the 10 dBA sound differential but it is there. Awesome cars these are! Tom

Nice work on resurrecting a rare option! So, the big question: Are you going to charge $2,000 for a handful of them, or $200 for thousands?
Beautiful '70 vert you got there BTW.

Hi Greg, unfortunately, that is not my car but I wish it was!
I have completed my building fun. All I have left are two for my own Cuda. Another company is looking into them but we will not know for sure how much or when. They will not be produced by the thousands though so that price is too low and they will not be $2000 fortunately! ![]() ![]() Thanks, Tom

Tom,
Thanks for that update. There is nothing that thrills my innermost "GTO dude soul", like that sound! Please let us know if these become available and how much? Charles |

Great work Tom it must have taken passion to develop and resurrect such a great yet short lived Pontiac option. Kudos! Keep us up to date on the progress of things with the company.

I saved my nuts, (and my cash) and bought one of the first sets of stainless VOE mufflers and was very happy with the quality. I waited a long time as I knew the final product would be first class. Great Job Tom H.

I would say that since I like the left one the best, it would be of great value to me and anyone that is missing theirs. Again, awsome work on returning a wonderful option!!

Wow, those sound great and they look like a really well engineered setup
The HUMBLER lives again ! Is that an original 1970 VOE control-knob & bracket shown in the video (under steering column) ?

As indicated earlier:
I saved my nuts, (and my cash) and bought one of the first sets of stainless VOE mufflers and was very happy with the quality. I waited a long time as I knew the final product would be first class. Great Job Tom H. Tom V." I can only offer compliments to Tom H. He did a great job and I think I have the only "polished" stainless steel 2.5" VOE II set in the world. They sound great as I cruise down the highway mounted in the '63 Catalina convertible, which has a 421 with dual 4's. Even my 82 year old dad (original owner of the car) was impressed when he took the car out. We also noted that when operating them there was minimal affect on the vacuum. It maintained 16 at idle and when cruising and the VOE II's are open, the vacuum is maintained between 22 to 24 inches. GREAT JOB TOM! PS - I think it actually improved the gas milage! Ziggy |
