Sorry about that,I forgot to check the box for the attachment. That is a very nice Castillian Bronze GTO. Looks great with the Sandlewood vinyl top.

Supercarbob,

What is the Pontiac behind the one in the pic? Looks like a '70 with a '69 Judge stripe. Can't really tell. Can't see the front enough but doesn't look '69. Inquiring minds want to know.

Thanks guy's, great picture's of the stripe's!
Neat car's too!!

I would buy one(1) set of these type stripe's for
certain, possibly (2) set's?

How many other's would be interested? Should we
look into getting just one color combo reproduced?

Would the White/Red be the majority's first pick?

Our T-37 did'nt come with the stripe's, but Dad is
thinking the car need's a little something to snaz
the car up just a little. It's alot of silver and
a little plain with steel wheel's/poverty cap's.

4speedT-37,

Awwww, come on now. Put a good set or Ralley II's or Honeycomb wheels with white letter tires if you are going to put the stripes on it. BTW, what is wrong with ALL SILVER. I kinda like it that way. BTW, I have a large 2 page ad with a '71 T-37. Think it out of Life, Look or one of those larger mag's. NOOOOOO, you can't have it.

I don't have a problem with ALL THAT SILVER, but
the car belong's to Dad, and I think he would like
the stripe's.
We've got several set's of rally II's that we are
not going to be using, and I don't really care for
the look of honeycomb's,except on certain color
car's.

Talked to Dan Jensen earlier, and he said if we
get a company to reproduce the stripe's, he will
buy a set also.

Anybody else?

I would be willing to buy 2 sets,or more.I would be willing to give up the N.O.S stripe for the front to the company that wants to tackle this project. With at least 2 original paint/stripe cars a good rub/tracing of quarter stripes should be no problem.Someone that works(or owns)Phoenix Graphix has been on PY,I havent seen him post in a long time.Maybe Ccass would be interested in helping with this.

Jack,
That is my '70 455 GTO. The stripes (69 Judge design) were an original option on this car. I have never seen another 455 '70 with the stripe option.
I have talked to both stencils & stripes and Phoenix Graphix about the 1971 stripes in the past. Maybe now that more people realize that GTO's and T-37/Lemans used a different stripe then the Judge they will consider reproducing. I would buy them. I also know there are a lot of restored 1971's around with the wrong stripes.

The stripe on the '70 looks also like the stripe used on the Magnum 400 that Knafel Pontiac sold. John Glasgo has a blue car (Tempest) with the same stripe. Does this stripe show up as an option on the MSRP or build sheet. Just curious. Certianly makes it different and glad my eyes were not playing tricks on me. Looks really good.

BTW, my '71 assembly manual shows 2 different stripes. One for Judges and one for the GT-37 package. This is prior to the '71 1/2 GT-37.
