The 2005 GTO will be powered by the new LS2 6.0 liter 400HP V-8. It will also have twin hood scoops to give it a more distinctive appearance. Also 18" inch wheels will be standard instead of 17's. Different spoiler than the 2004 and possibly a spoiler delete option.

Whether this is the standard engine, or an upgrade in a hiperf version of the GTO I don't know. I was only told the above.

No sir, not at all. Maybe I'm their source.

I was also told dual exhaust out each side, which I think everyone suspected that would happen.

Shure with these changes it's not going to be called the GTS as stated last year?

GTS???

It will still be the GTO as far as I know. The GTS is the hiperf Holden Monaro by HSV.

Did you mean GXP, GH? As the Performance Plus was originally being called GXP. And I would imagine all Pontiacs will be getting these letters with the G6 and Bonne. already having them.

The above pics of the GTO autocross are very close to what the 2005 GTO will look like minus the hood scoops.

I like mine ... however it is a bit odd for me right now because I have not driven it yet. The snow is coming down and the salt is spread on the roads

Since I've been watching these cars for so long and checked out maybe 5 or 6 of them before I picked mine up there were no real surprises.
