My thanks to all who have helped me thus far...I'm getting close but yet another question.
Just installed new weatherstrip...the new roofrail stripping now does not allow enough clearance for the 1/4 window to roll up (too much contact at the lower rear of the window). This is definitly the only hanging point as I took the stripping loose and the window rolls up. Is there an adjustment for the window? Can't see any that is evident. Thanks again in advance. |

Goatman, Yes ther is. Remove the panel and on the window mechanics you will find four adjustments that will let you move the window up, down, foward, and backward. It will be a hold down nut on a slot, once yoy loosen the nut then you can slide the window track. It is much like the adjustment on your alternator.Hope I helped you. Merlin

the body service manual shows all the adjustment points and discription about what to adjust to move the window where you want it.

Thanks all...I had been looking inside the window housing for the adjustments. Mine still had some sort of hard putty covering all but one of the adjustment nuts that I had to pry off to access. Got it taken care of and put back togerther...thanks.
