jamaca85,
Yes I just got the add up & it was $365 + $29 not the $385 for the auto version only.

TP,Any chance of getting a pair for a 71 TA 4 speed(really tkoII)with the last part of the header collector(oval to round transition) not attached?
I am building a G Machine for a customer and we are using 3" oval tubing from Dr Gas.
I would like to go right to oval, this may make it tuck inside the subframe.I have already "raised" the floor my only concern was how low the collector flange hangs.
I think this would solve that.

If they can't,just either leave it off or just tack it.I can rework it. I will wait to hear. Thanks

I can't speak for the methodology used but check out the bottom of this link for some performance testing done with the new Tri-Y's.

Hopefully, the final design (auto & 4-speed) will arrive any day now. I'm anxiously awaiting the arrival of the big brown truck!

Me, too.

Ron had hoped for a early November ship/arrival date.

I'm waiting on a coated set for a 4-speed, so I'll probably be one of the last to get the headers. If/when I do receive them, I will post here.

Latest update. The O-port headers should be done by Friday. With any luck, and Ron could sure use some, the painted sets will ship next week (Thanksgiving will most likely delay things somewhat). The coated sets will take another week or two. Once these are done the D-ports will be completed, painted or coated, and shipping in early December. Ron wants everyone to have theirs well before Christmas. He is also hoping to have the Kaufman's run a dyno test for HPP. As my son would say, "That would be way cool," and would help validate the unconfirmed testimony of a 1/2 second gain for a SD-equipped car.

I just got off of the phone with "TP" Ron, and my set of RP 3" collector ceramic coated Tri-Y's should be here be Friday. I'll post a pic or two in the "Street" section - for more exposure - once I receive them.

Oh, one other thing, I am truly honored that Ron picked my moniker - "Tri-Y-bal Tubes" - as the official name for his new headers.

Thanks for everything, Ron!

Ditto that, Skip!

I feel for the framing crew working on our new home, wallowing around in all that pig slop right now!

Skip,
That boat has a Pontiac 455 in it with 510hp. Can we be able to hit 81mph(GPS)on those streets? It only needs 1 1/2' of water.

Ron

I hope you made a special set of 'Upside Down Tri-Ys' for it! (More roof clearance)

Or would that be Bridge clearance
I will be getting a new set of 4-tubes for it though & later I plan to get a Butler aluminum 540 next summer. If everything works out or I win the Loto.

A buddy had a 455 Olds jet boat we skied behind. It hauled enough to scare me on the water! Could pop three skiers up easily. Why did they use so many Olds motors in those even compared to BBCs? They have about the same oiling system as our Pontiacs.
