Heh, I would love to have seen the hue and cry that would've been raised by traditionalists if they'd put forward anything with less than 8 cylinders as a GTO. A small, inexpensive, lightweight car with a supercharged V6 would've been a perfectly valid direction to go with a new GTO in my opinion... but I doubt many others would agree.
Having said that, I am satisfied with what we have.
