Well done, Steve.

The organizers of the event showing excited enthusiasm that you're making a try at it with a Pontiac is a good thing.

I can only imagine what it must have looked like from the cockpit when the exhaust port burned through.

Sure would like to see you bring that thing back east for some meets once it's sorted out.

Couplea thoughts here:

...That Phoenix AZ needs a better Zambonee

Steve, we East Coasters got to watch Paul Spotts grow from 9.5sec hot-pants to the 7.50 sec Nostalgic Blown Pontiac Rail ride..(uhm D-ports). I bet you two could share some thoughts on Paul's and your ability to keep patience first..uhm I mean safty first. I think he's up to 3.5%nitro depending on who you talk to.

Is my understanding correct: This was the only Nostalgic Altered Fueler that could hook-up in the Left Lane:

Hey Steve!!! If my memory is correct, didn't Arnie Bestwick say last year, that the engine in his 63 Tempest was the same block & crank he was running in 63??? He did 3 shakedown passes, all in the eight's!!! & on 7 cylinders!!! He was pumping water into a hole!!

Last year was outstanding!!! What a difference between 01 & 02. Over 100 cars & 600 through the gates in 02!!

This year will be bigger & better I'm sure!! See you in April!! I will be there!! Both Days!!

Keith! You better be there (LOL), I'll need your help for sure. Maybe Speedworld this weekend, maybe only. I'm pretty busy promoting the events in April and keeping up with parts orders, haven't had much time to work on the fueler. She gets another chassis cert thurs and I have to put the heads on. We got enough brew to make a few runs. You'll get something in the mail soon. Arnie had some head sealing problems last year, just new car bugs, no problem.
