Thanks for finding it for me David.
I wonder if it will get here in time for this weekend's Hemming's "Musclepalooza" F.A.S.T. race at Lebanon Valley Dragway? |

I am also wondering what years of dual snorkels are interchangeable? I have heard that 69 and 70 are the same but previous posts in this thread seem to disagree. I have also heard that all 68-72 dual snorkels are the same. Anyone know?

I'm no authority by any stretch, but I believe that there is a difference between the F-body and the A & G-body air cleaners. It had something to do with hood clearance and the depth of the carb flange.
Anyone know what color heat riser hose is correct for the A-body cars in '69? I've seen black and silver hoses. Which one should be there? |

i do not believe that 69 and 70 are the same.
as mentioned earlier, the angles are different, as would the base over the carb. i think, starting in 70 on at least the hi-po cars, the carb has a smoke stack like bowl vent, as opposed to the 69's which used the metal strip with a rubber gasket. the smoke stack equipped cars had air cleaners with a hole for that to fit into. the 71 and/or 72 may, may have had, an additional thermac switch poking out horizontally from the side. i cannot recall seeing one exactly, on a dual pan, but i have on the single jobs.

1969 and 1970 air cleaners are a little different, if you are picky. If you measure between the snorkel intakes you will see the difference.
