We hit the snow storm in Flagstaff on the way to the Grand Canyon. With quite a ways to go until we got home I opted to leave it in place. No harm done. I used Duplicolor spray on bra to protect the top of the hood. I don't think it did anything except make my car look stupid.

What you see in the pic is what I ended up with from the drive to the Grand Canyon from Flagstaff. It took me three car washes and a whole day of cleaning to get the car somewhat presentable after that. Blech.
I bought a Colgan Bra for just such occasions as well. The wife and I took a 3,000+ mile round trip to Denver and back last Fall, and I'm really glad I had a bra on the car. We hit snow and ice both directions through Wyoming and Utah, and the sand they dump on the roads would have destroyed the paint on my front end.
