if you read it, he says you have your choice of either the originals or the honeys.
not going to get involved in the ebay listing, but I can say the car sat for many years in a warehouse and not moved an inch. it is a real numbers matching (not a restamp) motor and 4 speed trans car with original rear end and factory a/c car. it was my car and I got pictures of the car when it was new and over the course of the next several years and all of the receipts of any repairs done to the car by the original owner. when the guy came to pick it up I told him to bring some good tires to put on it because the ones on it wouldn't hold air from sitting for years and years so he brought some repainted honeycombs with new tires mounted on them. hope that clears up any controversy on the wheels. |

Well that what I get for not reading.
Looks like the seller removed it from eBay. Had lots of potential for someone. |

Looking very close at the right side of the engine doesn't appear to be a round port head. The distance of the center post is small & when look very close it looks like a D-port head & NOT a round port. I would have to see that one in person to make sure , but for me I looks like a reg. D=port head.

I'm not trying to tear the car down , but when you see what you see it's hard to believe what is written. Many can say it was born with something , but if it's NOT correct it's not correct. If it's under dispute the pics should have been better . But the exhaust centers on the engine appear to be D-port heads.

I believe SD & HO are same, I am mid engine build and need an upper dipstick tube for AC application. If anyone has a spare repro or GM I kinda need one and they are not available now. THX, sorry for beg.

Pretty sure I have a picture in my phone of that car leaving your house Gary.
![]() The white 68 he has in the shop was behind it on the trailer - some Oldsmobile Pace Car thing in front.

A last minute snipe bid was placed to ensure that there was no high bidder left thinking that he won the auction. The seller then went through with the the offer that was made a few days before. He may have wanted the auction to go all the way to the end to gauge the market conditions because he has ate least 4 more 70-72 O port cars that he is thinking about selling.

very interesting Formula, looks like it is '71 455HO in Rosewood Poly with Ivory deluxe interior and a white vinyl roof....very rare color for a Firebird much less an HO. Will be interesting to see if it had ram air or not but looks to be highly optioned like most of the 455HO cars seem to be:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Pontiac-Fire...m=131894532245 also just noticed screens in those snouts... .
