got a 12 bolt in my 69 gto. want to change the gears to 342, or 355. will they fit this carrier? thanks, mike.

Probably not unless you have a ring gear spacer now or have a 3 series gear. The factory used a 2 3 and 4 series carrier, basically in the obvious range as stated. If your carrier casting is 30140 yes, 30174 no. I believe there is a 3.90 gearset made for a 4 series carrier.
