not that i am an expert but larger sway bars (i don't recall if the front was larger) but rear was 1" opposed to the 7/8"
quicker ratio steering box
and weren't the snowflakes a little different?

there was also something about a control arm brace

i don't recall if the 6x-4 heads were on the WS6 or not

this is all assuming i am correct, if not others will chime in

WS6 3rd gens had some other differences (different ball game i know)

I thought that poly urethane bushing as well as the 8in. Snowflake Wheels,4 Wheel disc brake's,quick ratio steering, fatty sway bars and I have never seen one without a posi unit. The WS6 option was manditory on the Formula's with the 400ci 4spd. option in 1979.

Posi (Safe-T-track) was standard equipment on ALL 70-81 WS4's (Trans am option code)

In 1981,it became part of the WS6 package & optional on WS4
