Thanks to everybody who bid on the car, and thanks to Larry for winning it and providing me with the comfort of knowing it will be going to a good home.
![]() I had hoped to see the car hit 6 figures, but as I said before, I know the market is soft right now. We got the car at a good price so it was still well worth doing the restoration. It was fun to share the process with everybody here as well. Thanks again to everybody and hopefully this won't be the last time we see this car.

Interesting history and its well documented. Looks like you have a very nice collection already. Are you the distributor rebuilder by name of LARS? |

yeah, I'm going to wait until I get my RAIV from John Kane in September. Then I'll do a nice shot with my "Supreme Court" for the Avatar.

Jayson the restoration was a work of art
My question is: I have a 70 GTO frame off and I am Ready to work on the rear end. It is hot tanked, media blasted and numbers matching 10 bolt. I am not shure if the rear detail you have done is specific to 70 Canada Judges or all 70 Gto Rears. All rear assemblies I have seen are semi gloss black but your frame off was basically natural in color. I have put this question on 70 GTO and 70 Judge forum to reply hopefully you can shed some light on this Thanks Again |

Well since there seems to be some dissension on the quality of work done, I will have a prime example to compare it to later next month. Comparing it to my OO 'vert, it seems like Jason did a pretty damn good job for the money but what do I know??

I wouldn't worry about it. If you had a time machine and could somehow bring a fresh GTO from the Pontiac plant, someone would find something wrong with it and swear to you that some little detail "was never done that way".
Just enjoy it I say.

Larry:
I agree with Greg Reid; ignore it and just move on. 99 out of 100 people would give a handsome sum to own that car and would consider it to be one of the finest examples of a restored 1970 Judge out there. I think the overwhelming majority of those posting here understand that, so you are definitely in good company. Enjoy those cars! Now, what's coming in this "Prime Example" later next month??? Are you adding to the herd? BJ

Just for clarification, I wasn't aiming my comment at you gregsgto. Just an observation that I'm sure we've all made. ie, No matter how nice the car, some people will talk it down.
