Default SD Bolts

I have a complete set of NOS SD bolts and nuts if needed. PM me if interested.

If you go to the arp catalog, I think they list 3 bolts for the sd 455. Mike

I would not even concider NOS bolts unless they where mint! Any rust pitting on the threaded area of the bolts or nuts renders them usless!, and alot of the NOS ones I have seen with the way the factory packs them have delveloped rust over the years, so go with new bolts.

Thumbs up SD rods/Pontiac Gregg

The big problem with the SD rods is: If the forging is the early A,B,C, or D marks, the bolt head boss is NOT quite square with the rod so they have a much greater chance of failing.
They snap off the bolt heads.
Mill the bolt head bosses.!!

Pretty sure B&B Fasteners and Crower make new bolts for them...

Just a quick clarification on the SD. rod bolts. These are brand new in the GM boxes stored at room temp.Mint condition. Agree with fittment.Rod end should be checked for parallel alignment.
