I've been digging through all the parts I picked up recently and found a NOS set of SD wrist pins(note in box). I didn't look for a part number is there one on them? Are these different from regular 455 pins? Thanks

He probable decided to keep it after he got the PHS and get rid of that beauty of a 79 he has.

He still has the car.He is waiting for the PHS to confirm that it is in fact a real SD-455 car and what options it may have had.Than you will see it relisted.In fact if you would have E-Mailed him you probably would have found all of that out yourselves.He's now looking to see if the firewall I.D. matchs the VIN.He does'nt want to sell a car that is falsely advertized.Do you blame him ?

I did email him but I never heard back from him. I dont blame him for pulling the listing. It will be interesting to see if he relists.

I see that the Barret-Jackson Scottsdale auction has a 74 SD auto on its list of cars for auction. Looks like the red 74 that's been listed on ebay about 800 times in the last few months for around 94k-125k. Anybody willing to take a guess as to what it'll go for? The bad thing, I think, is that it's listed for Wednesday, and it seems like the cars being sold around that same time aren't all that special/rare. I'd rather see it get a Fri night slot.

I'm going to be going to the auction but I don't get into town until Wed so I probably won't get to see it go. Are they still doing the all no-reserve? I don't think I would want to take a chance if I had a ton of money into a car, especially this year. With the economy in the toilet its going to be a buyers market. Anybody know what happened to the 73 SD Ebay project car that was pulled last week? Did he do a private sale?

I believe the 8k mile car was a manual and the one going on the block is a restored auto car thats looks pretty nice. Itoo feel its a buyers market but hope the car brings a new light to those Mopar single minded nuts

But i'm thinking the description on the EGR may have been misleading.
Or maybe thats a superceeded replacement part number.

under that is the julian date code 256 2

the one on auction was

Anyone able to check those numbers ?

So if anyone with a 74 SD-455 manual trans car is looking for a NOS EGR valve, this is the one. But again, it is not correct for a 73 SD.

It would not even look correct as the vacuum hose fitting points forward on the 74, but it points up and backward on the 73.

I ran across this site in the UK about SD's there, pretty interesting that 3 or 4 white '73 Formula SD's were exported to the same dealer there along with 2 '73 Brewster Green T/A's. It was hard enough for people to order one of them here much less for one overseas dealer to get that many, it sounds like most of them have survived too
