The block has a casting # 304783.
There is a 71 stamped by the didtributer opening. Intake heads , pan and covers were on the block, the rest was scatterd about. I could not turn the crank manually. I am a complete novice with this. He had raced it a few times 12 years ago and pulled it when oil was gomming out the exhaust. For $450 its just going to sit around for many years before I can afford a rebuild, and it might just be a rusted hunk of metal. I think I should put the money to finishing the body. |
