I took the front fenders, doors and steering column off the car and to my bodyman last Thursday. He is going to "jam" the doors and fenders, and paint the steering column.
Other than that I didn't do anything. It took me two hours do what I did. I will add the time next week.

I'd have to rebuild his whole house to get my car painted! My problem is; I can't charge friends like I charge others.

I do trim carpentry and anything else the builder I work for wants me to do. When I get on the job, I am usually there until the house is finished.
By the way, I was going to call Norman today but forgot!

Mike,
I just got back in from a 1300+ mile round trip to visit my brothers in Kentucky. These are the only pictures I could find. I hope you have pulled the motor out of your car. It is nearly impossible to route the front lines correctly with the motor in. I hope these help.

Ditto.
![]() Any precautions on brake fluid Phil? Some hit my frame when bleeding the brakes and lifted off whatever chassis-black it touched. Touch up when the snow flies. |

I would place plenty of towels beneath the master to catch any spillage. I also plan on replacing my booster with a correct one when money allows.

Brake fluid will remove any paint that you are NOT trying to remove.

Well, I didn't make it to Columbus this week to pick up my parts. My buddy went to check on his 57 and brought back most of my steering column but didn't get the main tube. So, I can't put it back together.
I have to work in town at least through Wednesday, so, I may not get to pick up my parts until next week. The good thing is I am getting work. The bad thing is I don't have time to work on the car. Also, I am about to the point where I can't do anything more until I get the car painted.

Just a note to keep this post going. Work has kept me from the car. I am going to Columbus tomorrow to do some repair work on my bodyman"s house. I will pick up my fenders and steering column tube then. Blue, I will get that paint code for you.
Some of us went to Florida yesterday for the Emerald Coast Cruiz-in. There were some beautiful cars there. The standout was a 61 or 62 Catalina. I have a pretty full work week ahead but I hope to order some parts after next weekend. I may be able to find some of what I want at the swap meet then. Y'all don't give up on me, I will get the car done!!

Been following your project, nice job.
I am in the process of reassembly of my frame off as well. One question I have about the E-brake cable will it go below the brake line or between the fuel and the brake line? That is the point I am at.
