Yah I heard that AZ got some of the white stuff already to. "They" say it's going to be a rough winter this year... lots of snow and very cold.

Holy crap! "-21" already ?? I'm not sure but we might have gotten down to low 20s so far. The below zero stuff usually never hits here until January.

Yup-time to plug the diesel in !

Sheeeesh! Can you send some of that to Pembroke Pines, FL (near Fort Lauderdale)? It's going to be another record high - 87 degrees!!!!!

If Bjorn wants it hot, he needs to move here.

My new home in St Johns, Az got our first snow about 6 weeks back on October 27/28.
This week the Flagstaff and White Mountain areas in Az where our 2 major ski areas are located got over 24".

I hope to get back into skiing and snow boarding this season.

I dont WANT hot....just dont want it COLD...I can live with hot better, and I CAN live with cold too, just dont like it...

this is partly why I`ve been eying Boquete Panama....68F - 78 F ,every day all year round! nice 'cool to warm' weather....

I prefer that to Houstons 25-27F (sometimes) and up to 104F with 90% humidity

We were on the far south end of that storm. An hour north of me got a foot.

We got hit too. About 4 or 5 inches of really wet snow followed by teperatures at zero. Everything is ice right now.

About 8 inches in Minneapolis, but it was cold enough that it was pretty fluffy stuff. The temp got down to -5 or -10 last night. We can't complain, November was the second warmest on record so it's time now for the snow to be here and Christmas season to start.

Yeah Bjorn, I grew up just down the road, I can't tell you in the 40 yrs that I grew up there that we had any snow other than 4 or 5 times, and never any accumilation. We had some snow here this morning, not that it ammounted to much. But you can keep the heat, humidity, and misquito's. Althought I'll see my share of them there at Christmas

Triathlon:

I guess that the one we got in October, the earliest-ever, missed you, huh? We're SW of you, not far from Monticello.
