Theres been some stuff added to that interior. Lemans never came with the wood dash inert. I love the console. Wish I had one.

My seats ripped in the same place. Nice car. Enjoy it!!

The piping is exposed on the driver's seat but other than that she's all there. It took a boat-load of elbow grease to get rid of 40 years of grime but once I did she looked practically brand new. Her name is Deb, she'll always be a LeMans albeit with a GTO hood!
This is what mine looks like but black. Pretty plain but clean looking.

Old Blue, my 67 LeMans convert is all original and has the wood dash and console. I thought I had seen a few others this way too.

Just caught this post, don"t have many good pics............i bought this 11 yrs ago, had a 400 in it ...........have since went to a 455 about 5 yrs ago.

Motor being redone now, with aluminum KRE 290 heads from SD along with their "Old Faithful" cam..........4 speed, 3.42 rear, should be fun........i hope.

What I have found to be true in most cases on a '67 Lemans, is if it has a floor shift auto with console option, then it gets a wood grain console.....and a matching woodgrain dash.

If it is a column shift automatic or three-on-the-tree (like mine came) and no console, then there is no woodgrain dash.....

Definately good info! Thank you! I may make my auto console (top pieces) and shifter and dash insert available if anyone is interested. Once I get everything installed for the 4-speed conv. I beleive this all to be original parts in excellent cond. I will keep the numbers matching 326 and two speed trans. but I figure the auto console stuff I could part with as I am sure someone could use it...

LOL The calendar is from Frank's Pontiac parts. I had to get the pedals from him as I was informed by another supplier that the repops are complete junk. This other supplier sells the repops and had them in stock and was nice enough to inform me of this when ordering. The vast majority of those parts did not come from PY (very long story there) and I realize I must walk a fine line on this site so that's all I will say.

The 4-wheel power brake disc conv. kit will be here tomorrow. The HO manifolds and the 2.5" mandrell bent exhaust system from RARE will be here later this week as will the 8.2 Eaton posi carrier, 3.55 gears, install kit and new axles. Installation of all this stuff will begin next week!

Car look great. Its really nice to see a completely stock looking LeMans instead of a GTO clone built on a LeMans. Would love to see more pics of your car too

I'm not a big fan of Rally I's - I prefer Rally II's - but I must say your car looks great with those rims and red line wheels!

Thank you all for the comments. I have always liked the Rally I rims. The entire 10 years we owned our 68 Firebird, I had always wished they had come on the Firebird so I could put them on. Then, once the Firebird was totalled this past Dec. 12th, I told my wife, if our next Pontiac doesn't have them on the car when we buy it, I am going to order a set and the same with the red lines. I was lucky that this car came with a brand new set of Rally I on it, but I knew those white letter tires just had to go!

Thank you! We are thrilled to own this car! After owning our 68 Firebird for 10 years and a 68 Camaro RS/SS conv. for 6 years before that, we were ready for a bigger car!
