Just went back for a close look at your pics.

I spotted the "corvette" plug wires.

Does it have the optional unitized ignition?

Also note the lack of bright pedal trim on brake/gas pedals.(I believe the bright trim was standard on early secondgen Esprits & became part of custom trim in later year T/A's)

Notice the body colored inserts in outside door handles? (standard with custom trim)

Spotted replacement LF sealed beam.
Is the RS still original Powerbeam?

thanks 2manyT/As - i agree on the stick but hey how many survivors are there out there :-). i do have a 72 with an m22 that i'm restoring right now, its blue/black just like the survivor. (and yes! its very convenient to just walk over to the survivor every time i have a question about what is correct)
It is bone stock nothing added nothing taken away.
I plan on finding the build sheet this spring (i'm suprised at myself that i haven't already done that - ha!)
It would be a crime to restore this car, i intend to drive it now and then and do only what is needed to keep it running and safe to drive.

it does have unitized igintion, the previous owner took the ends off the wires so he could slip on the heat protectors on the wires to help preserve them (i realy didn't like that) - unitized wires are very hard to find - however i do have a nos set with 71 dates.

that car was about 10 miles from where I sit here at my work, amazing how they are out there and you never know when or where they will turn up. Is the car still in Texas? some more underhood detail shots would be good if you can post them since the car is so close to an untouched original

and believe it or not, both my 72 TAs have the potomac cloth interior, verified with PHS. its just luck that the two 72s i found had it. the 72 i'm restoring took a long time to find, i specifically wanted a 72 blue with black interior and a 4speed all numbers matched, i bought it about 5 years ago at that time i had never heard of that option.

yes, it has the delux interior, A/C, back seat console, 8 track. (talkin about my other 72 here not the survivor)

i think the previouse owner repainted it (in ther car) but i'm not sure, maybe pontiac paint will hold up.

Argh - just noticed that the "unobtanium" correct rear upper A/C compressor bracket is missing.

Dunno if your M22 car has the correct bracket, so here's a couple of pics of the correct HO bracket on my Formula . . . As you can see from these pics, the correct bracket is "scalloped" to clear the passenger side air cleaner snorkel pre-heat tube.

Proper repro hard fuel line from pump to carb is available from PY, and fits well.

Lloyd - i guess when the a/c compressor was replaced the braket was swapped for some reason. I do have the correct bracket for my other car and yes they are very hard to find.
