I remember the advertisement in the magazines back then for the GMC V6 with the heads off and water coming out of every coolant hole in the decks squirting 10 or more feet high.

There's a local guy that has a 60 GMC PU w/ V6
First time I looked under the hood I wasn't sure what to make of it. Neat truck for sure.

Friend has a 66 GMC pickup, 1/2 ton, 4 speed granny tranny with V6, drives it to work evey day, no problems.

Yous guys don't understand the NW culture, especially the Seattle area. That's the NW way of under coating. Yous guys have to protect the under neath from salt, we protect the top from rain.

I had a friend that built a 31 Chevy coupe back in the mid 60's. Desoto Hemi under the hood, the car was Peacock metalflake, and the top was flocked in black.
