So I was wondering, is there a heavy class? What class will a 3700lb car running mid to high 11s be in?

I will most likely NOT be there with the PINKS crowd jacking the price of rooms out of my budget.

Camp out in the pits. Save your money, stay where all the action is.

I was there yesterday, and the flyer they gave me at the gate listing the year's events is calling Friday "pontiac verse the world" on one side and "FRI street wars/street points/-PY Pontiac Nationals" on the other side, Sat is Pinks Qualifier/ NAPA Day, both sides, and Sunday is "Performance Years Pontiac Nationals", both sides. Not much info, but I'm happy it's still there, and I'll be there on Sunday...

Thanks to those who were able to step up and keep this event a reality...

Tom...I just reserved a room at the Holiday Inn right down the street from the track last week...the price was the same as it was last year and years before...$119 per night. Hotels that are farther away (like where we stayed when you saw my Can Am the first time) are still about $85.

Looks to be a ONE day Sunday Pontiac event?

But will give Great exposure to PYPES on Saturday for Pinks.

And were are into March with less then 2 months left.

If it wasn't for certain people that race posting on going there would be no info at all.

Anyone involved with this Event out there??????? Helo Mcfly?

Would be nice to have a post from the Sponsor with times and 'all the info availabe' as to what the Pontiac racer can expect for 3 days.

This is all I can find as of March 4th.

Hmmmmmmmm, with my only going as a spectator (and possible car show participant), I hadn't given any of these points any thought, but you're right, time is short before the event is here. I still need to pull the driver seat out of the Can Am to repair the tear in it.

Their breakfast is better than most too. You can at least get eggs & bacon.

Blabbermouth!

Might have to put the fitting in the passenger side of the intake. Looks like the pad has some room there.

The revised discharge tube looks like it lines up really nice between the S/C and the bonnet.
