Default Unrestored Original 67 GTO For Sale

After posing the question in the tech forum as to whether I should use this car as the basis for a resto-rod, I decided to test the waters at Flea Bay to see if there was any interest from someone who wants a survivor type car.

It looks just like one locally that was bought new and stays locked up in a shed. I was promised first shot at it years ago; I was hoping he hadn't up and sold it.

That is a nice GTO,i grew up in Atlanta, what town was the lady from.I see it was from Boomershine which was downtown and had a all inside showroom.Just recently i had to run the VIN on my T/A to get my tag from the state. The policeman who showed up at the house was the grandson of the Boomershine dealership. He said he had some old dealership photos, hopefully i can get some copies.

Quite simply - a stunning survivor GTO!

It's an over-used term that I'm certain you don't want to hear, but if I only had the cash . . .

Good luck with the sale.

The original owner, as well as the second owner were both from Griffon, Georgia.

Sorry, I just looked at some of the paperwork -- the correct spelling of the town is "Griffin." The salesman's name who sold the car was Ed Shine, and the selling dealer signature is (can't make out first name) Bommershine, Jr.

Several individuals are serious about the car, but no money has changed hands yet!

That's a beautiful survivor car. Using that for a resto-rod platform would be a grave mistake IMO.
