I know lots of the folks these days that work in the parts stores are not well versed for our old cars so what the current part # of the oil filter we use in the 69 400?
Thanks!

From looking through AC Delco's site, the part number you are looking for is PF24, a Duraguard filter. That seems to be a common number I think, my store could interchange it to AC Delco but I don't think we carry AC Delco filters. |

AC Delco.
PF24 is the latest. Used to be a PF30.

My local parts guy told me that the PF-24 was going to be discontinued. Any truth to that?

I had a stash of PF30's that I just recently used up. I bought a box (12) of 51258 WIX replacements.

Even if they discontinue them they'll have another AC Delco number to replace it. My store mainly carries Wix filters. I could interchange the part number to find out what filter it will replace perhaps, if AC Delco is in our system. I would think it should be, we sell AC Delco spark plugs, I don't see why we wouldn't sell their filters.
