68 Firebird RA clone without front bumper center emblem, chrome grill bars, small fuel line and no vent lines for a starters yet it has the open scoops, all the decals and nicest RA hood and carb pan set-up you ever seen. And they tell you it is ORIGINAL GRRRRRRRRRR

I've seen those also, and was told that by one idiot/scammer (take your pick which he was).. The first thought I had hearing that answer was "is he too stupid to understand why he deserves a knuckle sandwich?"

Well I bit the bullet and removed the air cleaner engine call out decal this weekend. Looks a little naked in there, but what the heck. The Grant wooden wheel will be there until I can afford to have the stock black/clear wheel recast. And the fuzzy dice, they stay, if you don't know, you wouldn't understand, lol.

I also agree that it looks naked, yet better without the sticker that I JUST REMOVED.. Almost cleaner. Not that the underside of my hood is anything to look at.... Not sure if I am in denial over the loss of the sticker.... I need a non-chrome air cleaner to stop the reflections of my incorrect items.....

another couple 70-73 bird resto nit picks.
73-up fenders, service replacement or not, on high dollar "100 percent correct" 70-72 Trans Am or formula restorations. Ditto for the core support and the fan shroud with the square hole (I'm guilty on that last one at present, but it will be remedied--and the car is far from completed). My favorite peeve not exactly fitting the thread are the parts sellers with their 2nd gen "fits both, no difference" camaro/firebird doors. I did see some poor soul drag racing a Firebird at E-town with Camaro doors on it. |
