Hey you classic rock junkies, check out my sons website and make sure to see his photo archives as he has tons of recent live performance photos of our favorite bands. This way you can determine who is original and who is not?

Are you serious??? I wasn't even alive before Ronnie passed away and therefore would have no way to know about the quality of live performances. However, if you are speaking of their studio work... there is absolutely no contest between the original lineup and the current lineup. Ronnie and the rest of the original group put out some of the greatest music ever of any genre. Little brother... well some sort of Skynyrd is better than none at all.

I've seen both.The 2000 line-up sounds better than the oriinal.Hughie Thomason,Ricky Medlocke & Gary Rossington were the best guitar line-up the band ever had.Todays-you may have a point with the death of Powell & the Mad Hatter.

Foriegner lead singer was Lou Gramm. He was also a Pontiac guy back in the mid 80's as he called looking to buy my 70 Judge at the time. I was flattered but not interested in selling. Should have known he was a musclecar guy from one of his songs "Rev on the redline".

Chicago is a hard one to describe because they had 3 lead singers. Of the 7 original members:
Walter Parazaider, Terry Kath, Danny Seraphine, Lee Loughnane, James Pankow, Robert Lamm, and Peter Cetera.
4 are still with the band.
Terry Kath arguably one of the best guitar player of his time, died.
Danny Seraphine parted ways.
Peter Cetera went on to be the ballad king

The band still puts on a great show and I definitely wouldn't call them a cover.
