Nice, I did get some paint and had the metal dash painted while the windshield was out, but I wasnt sure how to do the dash pad and the plastic. SO you used spray cans? Looks like it came out nicely. There is a place in San Diego and a guy they call Jimmy Chips who knows all the old 70's colors and how to match them. He mixed my interior paint.

My '73 and my '72 & '73 in the garage.

I've bought two cars out of Washington and both where dry rust free solid cars. Looks like you have one here.
Congrats! |

Nice SD cars. I got mine out of eastern Washington near Spokane. Very solid. I didn't realize how dry the climate is in that part of the state.

Nice looking car. Maybe one day we can do a photoshoot together like we did once with the '73's! Send me a PM when your going to have her out, I'd like to look her over.

Greg, That would be fun. I am working to get the scoop functional and I think I have all the parts. Can I peek at your set up sometime? Bruce

I know you know it, but man, unrestored, even with a couple of blems, is soooooo cool. Please keep it that way, so few like that.

Hope that one doesn't last long though!
Best of luck with your future project Lloyd. Just don't make it that you feel guilty about driving it. |

Besides spending money that I don't have, that's the ONE thing that I AM worried about!
In it's current condition, I don't have to mother it at cruise-ins, etc. When it's done, I'll be as nervous as a long-tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs, LOL!

Thats a good line pard, will have to remember that one!
Bottom line make a plan and stick with it. Dont let the project get away from the plan otherwise the cost goes up and the car becomes to nice to enjoy. Make it the way you want to use it and no more. Best of luck my friend and if there is Anything I can do please feel free to ask. Brian |

Looks like it came out nice. Can I hit you up later for more details? I should be ready to start the interior in another month or so.
