FWIW,.....Melling was also an OEM supplier for at least some Pontiac camshafts, although perhaps not the SD455 cams specifically.

Which SD cam the first 73 same as the Ram Air IV, or the production 73-74 cam? The price of the first would be higher I think.

With the small gear on it?
I'd say it should be worth something since only the SD distributor would work with it.
(or RAV)

That Admiralty blue/white 73 automatic is back again on ebay. How many owners has this car gone through in the past year? Or has it just not sold? It seems to pop up for sale every few months with another seller offering it.

Looks like a beautiful car that just needs some detail work (underside paint - nothing a couple weekends of work couldn't fix)). I'd love to have it!

Same seller has a bunch of low mileage 77-80 Z28's too.

Steve, taken in by the Mopar no option wheel look?? hehe, it has that mopar look, you have to admit!!
The "flatter" black on the underside of that car looks very thick..would take alot of work to strip that and all the hardware to make it correct, more underside pics would be good, and the restoration pics... Im surprised, actually, that its not BLUE, that mopar influence was wide and deep !

73 in Norwood....

Never said it would be an easy couple of weekends :-)
I'm not too good on my time estimation anyway, as you can see by my original estimate of one year on the 72 T/A.

Anyone out there in 73 SD land want to trade?

Both cars are very interesting and would love the opportunity to see either let along both of them. These type of vehicles should be in a location where the public can visit them like a museum. I'd go way out of my way for a visit in a heart beat!
Owning one would be like a show car though, they get NO driving.

I really want to get out to a Pontiac show. Is the Idian uprising happening in 2011? What city is it located in? I could look it up, however I'd rather start talking about good car shows/cruises. Greg

You know I would but just to much going on at the present.
Hope it brings good money and it should even at these strange times. Best of luck and thoughts about a replacement car?
