Here is me at the age of 18 standing in front of my '70 Monte Carlo..... had a lot of good times in that car.... I've probably gained about 50lbs since then. The pic was taken in '86 in Vallejo CA. That was my '54 F-100 in the background.

Can anyone provide info on this? My father lived in Clinton, MD with his sister from 1950-1954 before joining the Navy for 4 years...her house was in the flight path of one of the runways at Andrews. I remember him telling me when I was a kid about an air force "cargo" plane crashing on a public highway near Andrews sometime in the 1950's...I wonder if this is it?

I see Steve posted an old railroad pic, here is one from "my backyard" of the B&O Royal Blue traversing the Thomas Viaduct in 1937. This bridge crosses the Potapsco River valley near Elkridge, MD (not far from my home) and was the first stone/mason bridge of its type built in America on a curve...it was finished in 1835 and for its time was considered an engineering marvel. It is still in constant use today.

January. The "Royalty" reign all year though and appear in many area parades throughout the year.

You mean to tell me that that picture was taken in January...In St. Paul?
EDIT- It just occurred to me that the lady in the car would hold her Winter Carnival title for the entire year..including the summer, when that pic was obviously taken.

what city did this 70 M C come from??? my next door neighbor had a tiwn to that over in Walnut Creek.....

I bought the car from Lehmers Oldsmobile in Concord in 1986 for $1800. The car was sold to someone in the bay area in the mid '90's. The car had buckets console and a SB400.

I traded the Monte to my dad in about '88 for the '59.... wish I still had that.
