FWIW...

The pix/drawing I posted above is from an original, untampered with '68 Firebird
(early production) that came from the factory with the 1st style (tall) Hood Tach (as also used on the '67s). Have the same drawing/pix for the 2nd style (short) Hood Tach on a '68 Firebird Hood and the hole size, location is different.
